Locating and Identifying Assets

To find tagged assets via RFID:
  1. From the app’s main menu, select Find Assets.
  2. Find the asset you’re looking for, either by scrolling or using the search box, and press the asset name.
    1. You can select multiple assets: if you do this, the app will give you multiple percentage bars.
  3. Using the slider, set the reader’s power level as desired (for asset locating, you’re usually going to want it high).
  4. Press the green > button.
  5. The percentage bar(s) will increase the closer the tag is to the reader.
  6. When you’re done, press the stop button.
To identify an asset record based on the tag via RFID ("tap to view"):
  1. From the app's main menu, select Tap and View.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Hold the handheld reader directly against the tag.
  4. If the tag matches an asset record in the database, it will show the asset on screen. Press the eye symbol to view more details.
