Alerts

You can configure alerts that will trigger a webhook and/or send an email when a fixed reader updates the location of an item. 

To set up an alert:
  1. Click Alerts Management on the left menu
  2. Click Create New
  3. Toggle status on
  4. Add the alert description and desired message
  5. Configure triggers:
    1. Select the location you want to trigger updates for
    2. You can, optionally, specify an additional 'has never been' location: if the item has ever been there, the alert won't trigger
      1. This is useful if you need items to follow a specific physical process through your facility
  6. Configure conditions:
    1. You can specify fields that need to be a certain value in order to trigger the alert
    2. You can also trigger the alert only if a specific field is empty
  7. Input URL for a webhook and/or email address for the alerts
  8. Click Create to save
